I saw the coaching staff of two local 8&9 yr old Football teams get into a fight Sat. on the field while both teams were still on  the field. I was speachless, Cops were called and charges were filed. YET no one went to jail!! The most disgusting thing about this was I heard coaches afterward saying how "that was old school football" Are you Kidding me?? Then I saw kids talking and saying how cool that was that it was like the UFC. I was shocked that the coaches were not so ashamed that they dug a hole and crawled in it. Instead I heard the coaches from the team that was losing at the time the game was stopped ask one of the Men in charge if it was a double forfiet instead of a loss since it was stopped in the 4th 1/4. I could only shake my head since he was one of the coaches that had started the fight on the other teams sideline. I was told that the other guys were mouthing off first!! LOL But this one teams coaches and parents still ran all the way across the field to be in this fight. I think all involved should be banned from the league. What are we teaching our kids? That if someone says something you dont like its ok to Hit (assault) them?? All of you involved should be proud of yourselves.

Usually that is something you see on the news from somewhere else. This is pretty embarrassing that it happened locally. I hope all the IDIOTS involved face charges and are banned from the fields (if that is possible). Unfortunately, the parents will probably will be at the gym or ball field embarrassing their kid in the next sport.

to the parents,  

Your childhood career is over. Start acting like the adult you supposedly are. Geez.

you can read all about it in the youth football thread.  i'd hurry though, i don't know much longer the thread is going to last...

Besides, there will probably be more of the same garbage at the next games.

Seems these fights at football games are starting to become the trend unfortunately.

      What news station do you watch?…..never mind.    What age are the children you take care of. Refugees from where? Are they in a hospital? Now children compared to criminals…..geeeez. The mayor of Denver and a few governors, including Newsom, have said they will not turn over incarcerated criminals to ICE. This is a felony. They are harboring criminals and fugitives. Gee, I’m so glad you want criminals protected. Anyone who crossed illegally into our country is a criminal. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

      I think it's actually the first time ever to get past the second round. Some older folks might try to tell you about Scott High but I wasn't here when that school was around 😆

      Smith is 78-31 overall and 18-8 in the playoffs. His first three years he went 23-15 overall and 6-3 in playoffs. His Silsbee teams are averaging making 3rd round every year in his 9 years as head coach.
