Manny played less than half a season in the NL!!!

Obviously you guys opinion is stronger than the 18 first place votes and 369 total that he received.

BTW Manny received 138 votes total and finished 4th!!!

Pujols missed 14 games this season and the Cardinals were 4-10 in those games.

Pujols is the ONLY player in MLB history to hit at least 30 homers in every year that he has played!!!

Howard did have 30 more RBI's and 11 more HR's, however Pujols drew way more walks and his OB% was the highest in the league!!!!

Pujols was quoted as saying that he felt a person should not win if they did not make the playoffs though!!!!

I guess he will take his 2nd MVP though!!!! ;D ;D ;D

If nobody else did any better than him and also did not make the playoffs then Pujols was the pick.

He had several guys above him that made the playoffs and had better or close to numbers he had. It should all be about winning first and foremost.

Look at the Heisman. One loss and you are almost done in most years and two losses, forget it.
