Just some bad luck in a Hurricane shortened season. Maybe they will achieve new heights in another hurricane impacted season? They do remind me of the 2001 team, for sure.
football04 Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 The defense on the 01 team was pretty good, anybody remember Michael Boyd, Ben McPherson,Jake Askew, all big time playmakers. The 01 team was a quick strike offense, and had a left handed QB other than that not very similar. That year we had a good kicking game too. Play off road could look the same if we could get that far, We were picked to lose to an undefeated Friendswood team and also beat Magnolia that year before they moved back up to 5a.
