Deweyville Looking for Games

Considering, that Coop is doing a great job promoting this site, I am going to use this as a recruiting tool for Baseball games. We are looking for a first weekend tourney and a Last weekend tourney (march 8-10) for our Varsity. We also need tournaments for our J.V. as well. Not sure who the new Deweyville Baseball coach is. Coach B is no longer there. I'll find out Monday.

Coach Buff has a family member that has been sick and he needed to get closer to them. That is all I can really say at this time.

I remember Deweyville having some good teams 4 or 5 years ago? Didn't they win district? Who was the Coach when Zane Williams played there?

Ryan Bulter = Great coach kids loved him. He moved back to Houston to further his education. :cry:

Ryan butler was his coach his freshman and sophmore years and Neece his junior year. Then Vines His senior year. Vines was there for his sophmore through his senior year and they won or tied for district all three of those years. All three of there coaches were well liked by the kids in deweyville.

I thought you were talking about Head Baseball Coaches. Butler -2 years,Neece -1 year, Vines -1 year as Head Coaches for Zane Williams. MY bad but you are right kids liked them all.

That is cool. Thanks for all the info. This is a great site. Seems like the same old story. The good coaches move on to bigger and better things. I know you said Butler is in Houston, and Vines went to Sabine Pass. Where did Coach Neece end up?

The last I knew he was at Kirbyville last year. Coach Neece is well thought of in Deweyville and respected. Where ever he is we wish him the best.
