The 2007-2008 athletic budgets have been posted on the Equity in Athletics website and Lamar's budget was $6,456,341 last year.  That's up from about $4.5 million the year before.  This includes expenses for soccer but none for football.  The budget will probably reach around $9 or $10 million in a couple of years.

McNeese State's budget was $6.7 million, and they have football.

It looks like they haven't updated the other schools yet.

I agree with Coachacola, the athletic budget will probably increase to about $10 million once football starts playing games.
