And has anyone heard any word on how #11 Musgrove is?? I know I didn't see him in the 2nd half..was wondering what was up with that and if he is alright? Thanks.. and WOOHOOOO WILDCATS!!!!  ;D

Great win for the Wildcats, keep taking each step all the way.  Coach Barbay and Anahuac, solid effort.  Can anyone explain the onside kick call in the first quarter?  Any refs out there?  The ball clearly bounced off a kville player, recovered by Anahuac.  I know it had not gone 10 yards, but the Wildcat defender did not allow it to go 10 yards.  Just curious.  Anyway, congrats from the Buna faithful to the Wildcats on the win and to the Panthers on a great turnaround season.

Prior to this game all 4 teams(Kirbyville, Anahuac, Arp, and Jefferson) agreed that whoever wins each game...the Reg. final(3rd round)game would be in Lufkin next Fri. @ 6pm...Abe Martin Stadium I assume.

Anyway, congrats from the Buna faithful to the Wildcats on the win and to the Panthers on a great turnaround season.

the call on the field was that a anahuac player touched the ball first and knocked it into the kirbyville player,,, im not sure if it happened that way but thats what they called.  But I can assure it was not the only blown call tonite.

Musgrove didnt play but maybe 2minutes of the ballgame. He got hurt in the first quarter in the first 2 minutes. We are all praying for his return against ARP as well as Ervine. I know that Ervine will not be returning for the Arp game though. He was hurt pretty badly. Hated to see either of these young men on our sidelines tonight. They are KEY players!!! Hoping for quick healing!!!

I saw the play and the Panther Player first touched the ball on the Anahuac 49 yard line and then the Wildcat Player touched it. The ball Didn't travel the ten yards required and was downed at the spot Anahuac first touched it.

I will say i was surprised by the way Anahuac came out playing. They came out fired up and played with Kirbyville the first couple of drives.  I think Kirbyville was just too much for them to handle but they did play their hearts out.  Congrats to the Panthers and a great year and keep it up, youve got things headed in the right direction and will only get better from here.  Anahuac has always had speed and talent but I think now you have a coach that knows football and knows how to develop football talent.  I will say to the rest of 23 2a yall are in trouble!!
