STiger85
Ball game. Navasota 48 Silsbee 33. Silsbee had two early turnovers that lead to Navasota TD, and turn over on down at the eight yd line early in the fourth. Navasota took full advantage of Silsbee's errors. Prat the RB for Navasota sounded like he was a beast. Good luck the rest of the way Navasota. Silsbee came up just a little short against the number 5 3A team in the state. Silsbee is proud of there Tigers. Go Tigers!!!

Jeremy Johnson and our Silsbee Tigers had probably one of the best performances of the season. Yes, they made some mistakes, but Jeremy was electrifing to watch to say the least. This kid is the real deal. He showed some good composure in the backfield and made some very good decision. I am just glad that Silsbee will have this talented young man back next season. I am also proud of the rest of our Tiger team, this team made great strides every week to compete at this level and they turned out to be way better than anyone would have ever given them credit for at the start of the season. They overcame adversity in so many ways. I am so very proud of this team.......We have alot of players returning for the 2009 season. Keep your heads up, I watched this battle and you guys played great!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D :D

Yes 88, we do have alot of returning players for next season, it will be exciting. But, we will sorely miss three players in particular. It will be hard to fill the shoes of Chris Castle, Josh James and Josh Skinner. These three have been starters for Silsbee the past three years on defense, they will leave some big holes for the underclassmen to fill on the defensive side. I am confident that the coaches will find the players to insert but it will be tough losing that kind of talent and experience.

You are exactly right, we are losing alot of talent and experience on defense. But we did have a freshman starter at LB this season and I am hoping that we have some other talent ready to stepup. Great job bringing Silsbee games to those that were not able to attend. I hope you will be covering some of the baseball games this season. Since my son is playing select it is hard to catch most games. Many thanks to you and tigervoice for covering Silsbee athletics like you have been. GREAT JOB!!!! They are greatly appreciated and I know I can speak for Wayne(tigersvoice) and he is greatful also. We really enjoy bringing Silsbee football to the fans who cannot make the games. As for other Tiger sports, I will be broadcasting Silsbee Basketball exclusively this year and am ready for a great season. I will be able to do about 20 of their games this year, maybe more(playoffs) As for baseball, the decision to do their games hasn't been decided yet. Got to get some sponsors for that. Do you think you could help me out in that department? Let me know.
