BroncoFan1
Maybe that's why they are interested in Credeur....to implement some discipline and good sportsmanship. Perhaps administration wants a change in this area.
RustedCutlass
I wouldn't take it either but LM has a way of getting what they want By "way" I take it you mean $$$, right? ;D If he leaves, Lumberton will take a step backwards IMO. With the upcoming talent they could rebound in a few years though.
raid07
And this is to be the DC at LaMarque, not the head coach. What Idiot would do that. Probably the same type of idiot that started this stupid thread.
Razor
I don't know anything about the situation but it seems far fetched on the surface to me.
stevieray
Everyone from Lumberton better get used to the fact that schools are going to come after Credeur....Hopefully he stays at Lumberton for a long time because he has done a great job and it seems like he is very well liked and respected throughout the community. AJ25
the main thing he focuses on is doing things right, and that is the exact opposite of what lamarque does. he would end up killing someone if he had to coach there. and he won't leave a great thing at lumberton for anything other than a headcoaching job. EX-Ceauxch
My inside sources tell me that it is for DC and if the money is right, he is very interested. Also depends on the other responsibilities and classroom stuff. We will see... I think it would be a great move.

Your exactly right at Lamarque they start at a very young age teaching their kids how to do things wrong.
BMTSoulja1
Come on, now. All of those kids in LaMarque aren't like that. They are used to wining, that it. I don't know what happened last year when Lumberton beat them, but they are just like any teenagers. They don't like to lose. Even though I would love for Credeur to stay here in southeast Texas, I believe it would be a golden opportunity for him to coach over there where they are brought up expecting nothing else than to win. Plus there are top notch athletes there (Taking nothing from Lumberton).
T-daddy
I ran into a Lamarque Administrator last night--he said they are actively recuiting Credeur to come aboard Its not lamarque its Jasper and there is interest both ways for ad/hc. and yes Jasper will pay more than lumberton. EX-Ceauxch
I have not heard about the Jasper offer. But the La Marque job would be much better. And more money, less second sport stuff to deal with, and so on and so on... Just better. Look to hear something on Monday after the holidays. There will be an announcement then. slick74
I sure hope he stays. It would be nice to see him continue building this program he has done an excellent job with those kids. I don't think he would get the support at lamarque that he gets from lumberton. PLEASE STAY COACH WE AND THE KIDS NEED YOU!!!!!!!!

And you know that Jasper would pay more than Lumberton because...? You don't know that. I think it's hilarious that there are so many people coming on here acting like they know exactly what is going on and what will happen, etc. They know this & that because their inside sources told them so. Ha Ha, what a joke. Everyone wants to be a know it all.
EX-Ceauxch
Would two coaches off of his varsity staff be inside enough for you? And why all of the anger? Bad day at work?
Maverick24 1/2
Would two coaches off of his varsity staff be inside enough for you? And why all of the anger? Bad day at work? Nope, because how would I know if they said that or not? We shall see what happens. I'll believe it when I see it. Even if Lamarque is recruiting him, I don't think he would leave Lumberton to go there, especially as a DC. It may be a good way to get a well deserved raise though kinda like Ned coach last year.
