BucPride09
Things look up for them next season. The Bucs had a rough time this year and their going to want their district champs title back. They started a lot of juniors and sophomores this year who have gained lots of experience, and the coaches are going to work them hard during the off season to get 'em ready. Gonna have to watch out for them Buccaneers next year...

Panther Pride
I think Anahuac will be picked to win the district. We started three sophomores and a freshman on Defense and we only lose one or two on that side. The offense we will lose our work horse but #24 as a SOPHOMORE will step in and run for days. The Line started two sophomores and we have three more sophomores ready to take the place of the seniors. With another year of Barbay's off season program we will be stronger. As for coaching, the name Barbay says enough.. From going 2-8 to 8-2 a year later, look out.. The kids have bought into Barbays program and with the success this year that we badly needed, the kids believe in themselves.. 8)
HtownHornet
Hardin and Anahuac should be picked for the top spot. Hardin loses four staters to graduation. Their top receiver Hunter Davis will return after missing all season, plus Villemez and all the skill positions were sophomores this year. This next year will be Hardin's strongest team in many years. Good luck to all. Sorry EC for posting on your Subject.

hdbasketballstar
Hardin and Anahuac in my opinion are the two front runners for next year. Losing only 4 to graduation and back to back years in the playoffs for many of these youngsters will give them the edge. I say Villemez carries the Hornets to a district championship next year! HtownHornet
Really panther 89? We will see. Your #24 is a great athlete no doubt, but does he need to add some weight to withstand the pounding a full time back will take a full season? Ask Mcneil, Villemez, Craft, Raymond and the rest of the horses. Until you get a workhorse to replace Mcneil which in my opinion you do not, don't underestimate this district. Mike_Honcho
The panthers will have the fastest backfield in the district next year. #10 and #8 which will be #24 new number. If you don't believe wait until April and you will see it at the district track meet.

Guest headnocker
EC might have a couple of 8th graders coming up next year that could help the team
TopDawG52
Kountze should be okay with 5 Starters back on O and 4 back on D. Jared Howard and and Freshman Quarterback Jamizon Powell should carry the load i look at my lions in 4th looking peeking at a Playoff spot. All depends on how much Jared Howard can carry. Guest ECBucFan
this is AP's district for years to come , everyone can fight over the scraps Thats probably accurate. Anahuac has the athletes, coaching, and MOMENTUM in place, and EC is slipping. Next best hope for EC is likely when the awesome 8th graders come up, in 2 or 3 years. sportsfan82
East Chambers Bucs will continue with tradition, hard working athletes and good coaching. This year it took a little while for the boys to get the momentum, but they realized that if they worked hard and together that they could win games and continue the playoff tradition. Boys at the end of last year some were saying that you couldn't win without Tramain, but I guess you showed the nonbelievers, continue to work hard and you can achieve. Best of Luck next year, you have alot of good hard working players returning next year. And best of luck to the seniors.
