Guest mffl Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 I know UNLV will enjoy this... http://www.katfans.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9257
TexasTerror Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 Not crying... Just brought up facts: 1) LU's SOS was 277 that day 2) Braun has not brought in his players yet 3) ULL was without two or three starters 4) LU has yet to win the big game -- the chances are upcoming on the slate 5) Buzz Williams gave Tristan Worrell to LU and Buzz is an unethical P.O.S 6) The third ranked recruiting class in the nation amounted to absolutely zip, zilch, zero, the nadda
UNLV Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 SHSU and Nicholls st are the worse teams in the SLC. They are bringing down our OOC. The SLC should boot them out. Maybe they can join Savannah st and NJIT in the "we suck" conference.
TexasTerror Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 SHSU and Nicholls st are the worse teams in the SLC. They are bringing down our OOC. This year, we are keeping the Lamar seat 'warm' when it comes to OOC play just like the Bobcats of San Marcos have kept your cellar dweller seat in football warm since you guys threw in the towel on football the first go around... I really do not think the Kats are that bad a basketball team and will only get better as the season makes it's way into January and February. If they had a SOS of 270+, we'd probably have the same record as your squad...not all teams play weak OOC schedules in the first month. But knowing Roc, he had to get some Ws in November after the last few Turkey-filled months.
UNLV Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 Terror, do you need a tissue? SHSU has not beaten a D1 school. SHSU would do much better as a DII school.
LUFAN Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 Terror, get a brain... what kind of OOC has SHSU played so far.. It has not been that tough either... You have not beat a D1 opponent yet. We have played and beat 3. Our schedule is getting progressively tougher to a level that your schedule will not reach.. Kentucky, Memphis, Louisville, TT. Also you say we are beating teams that are down or missing players... A win is a win.. We are only playing with 7 scholarship players right now so we are not at our highest level either... injuries and things like that occur on both sides.. it is part of the game.

They beat wright state by 19 points, they're a D 1 opponent.

Dollah-dollah! Do you guys have more guarantee games than Nicholls? Perhaps football coming on board is making Lamar "play schools at the level we want to be on" as basketball needs to bring in more $$$.
