Smith is 78-31 overall and 18-8 in the playoffs. His first three years he went 23-15 overall and 6-3 in playoffs. His Silsbee teams are averaging making 3rd round every year in his 9 years as head coach. -

Tales of two coaches. Hickman and Smith applied for the Silsbee job. Coach smith in his first three years at Silsbee went 23-15. Smith overall is 78-34. In Smith’s third year he brought Silsbee to state semi finals. Smith is 10-3 in the playoffs. Hickman 19-15, 1-3 in the playoffs in three years and went farthest to the area round. Do you think Hickman would have brought Silsbee to the State Semi finals in silsbee 3rd season? WOS has athletes and probably have better athlete's than Silsbee. But the lack of discipline and coaching strategy is apparent.
