HJ beat Barbers Hill 72-53 in the Aransas Pass Tournament.

HJ went 5-0 in the tournament beating Aransas Pass, Barbers Hill, Odem, Gregory Portland and Rockport Fulton.  Great weekend for the Hawks!!!!

Jarvis Benard led the Hawks with 43 points (7 long balls) today over Barbers Hill.  He played the entire 5 game tournament with tonsillitis!!!!!

Now that looked like HJ basketball.  Afterwards, Coach said, "We're Baaaaack!"  Very impressive performance.  Everyone played well, but Jarvis played out of his mind.

Ive been at almost every HJ game this year and I have to say that they were a completly different team at this tournament than what they have been.

I also have to say that you should have seen the Barbers Hill people. They get mean at basketball games.
