longhorn/26 Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 Hey Coop you mentioned some rather cold weather could be in store for our area around Christmas. I'm an avid hunter and was wondering if you could elaborate on how cold of weather your talking about?
KFDM COOP Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 Hard to say this far out but 30's-40's for highs is possible.

Guest tigersvoice Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 Hopefully it stays cold and will push more ducks and geese down to this area cause i hear up around college station there murdering ducks!! Heard a lot of geese on the move south last night (Thursday the 18th) - more than I've heard all season. Colder conditions must be on the way.
KFDM COOP Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 40's for Highs Sunday and Monday Lows near 30
643 Posted December 20, 2008 Report Posted December 20, 2008 If you want birds, there needs to be a total lockup on all water N of the Red River for at least a week yea im pretty sure the hurricane screwed us over lol ..... Actually the hurricane will help us on the upper coast next yr as most of the Water Hys?? has been flushed out opening up waterways, potholes ect. What I was refering to was ICE covering most water up north of us forcing the birds South. Why do you think there are more birds after season, its NOT because of no hunting...
