smitty Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 1948? Then I see no problem with this hire. But maybe Neumann would. Ha! BORN IN 1948
prepballfan Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 Danaher is a Texas coaching legend. I would love to have him. Why would he leave the Calallen school. He has 23 playoff apperances in 24 seasons there. This does not make much sense. He did coach at Hampshire Fannett a long time ago. This would be nice but Im not sure that it would happen. Good Luck Indians
pngfan1 Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 did he remove them or was they removed?? LOL The person who posted it removed it.
badndn Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 Danaher is too old and he is setup at Callalen, plus he is a south Texas guy. Not gonna happen. Better shot at Stump. Remind me again why Craig Stump wouldn't be interested. Pro's: 20K+ raise Athletic Director Better facilities Only show in town Better following Better school district for his kids Con's: Overall talent Staff not his Also: He can win a state title at PNG just as easy as he could at West Brook. The talent may be better, but so is all the competion at the 5A level. Win at PNG and he will get just as much media attention, if not more, as he would get at West Brook.

Because he publicly said he wouldn't be interested for one and I am not too certain about the $20K raise...I may be wrong on that, but I don't think the money is that dramatically different...if it is, that's a different story...money does talk!
badndn Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 1. Coaches rarely say they are interested publicly. 2. BMT pays all three coaches the same. $73,000. If they want to give him a raise of $20K then it will cost them $60K. 3. The PNG job will pay $90,000 to $95,000 that has already been established. 4. He is not AD at West Brook.

NDNWarrior Posted December 20, 2008 Report Posted December 20, 2008 january is going to be a long month for Indians!!! You got that right! Whoever the new coach is, everyone's going to have their own opinion....I'm ready for next year!
Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 PN-G needs to petition for Craig Stump.
badndn Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 PN-G needs to petition for Craig Stump. I'm pretty sure if he puts his name in the hat he would be the choice. Don't think we will need to petition anyone other than Craig himself. But if he ultimately isn't interested then oh well.
Guest rykerx144 Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 Stump would be the best for PNG, but would PNG be the best match for Stump?
lu cards Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 PN-G needs to petition for Craig Stump. its being done!!!

Guest rykerx144 Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 Im real confused about the intent and placement of that article!!
Guest baseball25 Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 All i am saying is everyone is saying Long and stump. When Haynes is a better coach than both of them...
Guest rykerx144 Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 Sounds like he would make a great coach for a few years!!! Then you'll need another paragraph to that story you wrote back there!!
