Anybody have Information on Matt Sundblad?

When I read Coachacola's post regarding his wife's birthday I was reminded of missing a LU v. Western Kentucky Game due to my wedding anniversary.  I recall turning on the radio in my car and hearing Dave make the call of Matt Sundblad hitting a three to win the game in double or triple overtime.

I just googled Matt's name and found an anesthesiologist in Iowa City, Iowa named Matthew Sundblad.  It seems like Matt was  a pre-med major.  I know he was an Academic All American and close to a 4.0 student.  Does anybody know if our Matt Sundblad is now a doctor in Iowa?  He was  a great player, great student and a credit to the LU program.

Yep, this is the same man...link to his profile at U of Iowa Med School above.

His game winning shot against USL (what they were named at that time) in overtime from NBA 3 point range or maybe even further out is a great highlight.

I was just thinking about him at tonight's game. I was there when he hit that 3 pointer two steps from halfcourt to win the game with McNeese.

That game vs. Western Kentucky was the one LU game I went to that season.  That was an amazing shot by Sunblad, and one I still remember today.
