Texas State is only down by 1 with 12 min left to Texas.. I think it's like 54-53 or something like that.. it would be awesome for 2 SLC teams to beat Big XII opponents.

UT wins 81-73.  Texas only shot about 35% for the game.  Since Texas State has one of the worst defenses in the country I think the close score was due more to UT shooting poorly than Texas State playing great defense.

I don't know... Texas State really got after it on defense... plus they're offense so was so fast paced... They played a great game and they have some young players so maybe Davalos has this program headed in the right direction.
