vpdb78 Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 > No touchdown horn in the Alamo dome :'( :'( :'(
Hawkeye Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 Guess we'll have to toot our own horn........so to speak!
rollinac Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 Says who...what kind of junk is that? > > > > > > > >
Edgar13 Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 > No touchdown horn in the Alamo dome :'( :'( :'( You think you would have got to use it much anyway?
Edgar13 Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 6 maybe 7 times Thats what we want to hear! Good Luck!
Backflipper Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 What is the horn hurting?? Why is it not allowed? I guess the horn is run off of some compressed air or gas that could somehow explode. Is that what they are worried about?
rapayne Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 It is just standard policy for most major venues. UH had to argue with Reliant over our air siren before.
rollinac Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 That's crummy....I vote for a change of venue...!!
liltex Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 You gotta be kiddin me.Years and years of monster truck-tractor pulls-dirt track races that would make you deaf and the smoke and they will not allow a horn. Then don't allow a rodeo where you might get a real horn,or get splattered by dung.So if this is true are they gonna allow the band?If it is the artificial smoke then they should not allow music group concerts and fireworks.Everybody that can bring a cowhorn and we will do our own thing.
bronco1 Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 I got a horn I can blow but it kind of stinks. ;D
liltex Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 Bring it and let's make some stinky noise. ???
knightrider Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 Bring it and let's make some stinky noise. ??? :D :D :D :D :D
DHS Grad 95 Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 It's not an Alamodome policy, it's a UIL policy. No horns indoors.
liltex Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 Well then the UIL is discriminating.Tarkington-Hampshire Fannett could never play a game there.Kiddin ;D ;D What does the Alamo Dome for the 8 second rodeo horn?Holler Cowboy get off you won. :D
