HITSQUAD07 Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 Does anyone know how this one turned out?
KFDM COOP Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 Lumberton 3 Barbers Hill 1 Don't know any details..
KFDM COOP Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 Coach Lights Up Raiders http://www.beaumontenterprise.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=17115727&BRD=2287&PAG=461&dept_id=512556&rfi=6
MHS32 Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 Come out SMOKIN. That is a pretty cool phrase. They looked alright against the EAGLES. Looks like the new coach has them pumped up. Now we will see what the regular season brings.
raiderdad#15 Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 Lumberton had TOOOOO many penalties in the scrimmage against B H. We will not be good enough to overcome turnovers and penalties. We must get more disciplined. A few bright spots offensively were Garza, Carter and Ward making some fine catches and runs. Hanna and Hussey both had some good runs. Credeur had a very good run and few nice passes and DeJohn was 7-10 passing for 280 yards with 3 TD's (70, 65, and 30 yards). Coach C is certainly making progress and i love the enthusiasm the team has!!! GO RAIDERS!
Footballblue Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 Lumbeton Welcomes BH to 4A with a 3 to 1 win in BH, the games was very hard hitting and their were many mistakes, but over all LR looked pretty strong.
Guest etbu Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 Bh will be fine but will take a little while. They have a great senior class and great Coaching staff.
bronco1 Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 BH usually does good in everything. I think their new district will prove to be tough for them. C.E. King is always fast and they are gettin bigger. Crosby is always full of talent. I am sure that they will make a showing but probably not a playoff contender.
Guest etbu Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 Many of us from Huffman and Bh knew that moving up would not be easy. The jump from 3-a to 4-a is the most difficult if you ask me but both teams will play hard and see what happens. All you can do is play hard each down and maintain a postive attitiude and let the chips fall where they fall.
bronco1 Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 Note: I said, "Porbably". I wouldn't count BH or Huffman out. District jumps are tough, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did slide into a playoff spot.
Guest Kelly Football Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 From what i've heard BH better get better quick.
bronco1 Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 When you are jumpin from 3A to 4A its hard to anything quick.
Ltownpitcher21 Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 SILSBEE BETTER GET READY CUZ WE AINT SLOWIN DOWN!!!
Guest Jody Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 SILSBEE BETTER GET READY CUZ WE AINT SLOWIN DOWN!!! Dude, you MUST get real. In a game sitation Lumberton won't come close to beating anyone. Lumberton's first team is just BAD.....no other way to describe them. Even with BH down this year, had that been a game Lumberton would have never scored and would have been beatin by at least 30. The only time lumberton moved the ball was with the 2nd teams in the game........geez!
Champion Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 SILSBEE BETTER GET READY CUZ WE AINT SLOWIN DOWN!!! I hope your right Silsbee could use a good test. Silsbee D is one of the best in the area...... The O is coming along just takes time with the veer!
AggiesAreWe Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 If the coaches decide to keep the first teams on the field the majority of the scrimmage, which I heard they are since everyone else is playing for real this week, then Lumberton will not score on the Tigers. I predict at least a 3 td win for Silsbee.

Back to top Do you not understand that Lumberton scored on their first team to and held there first team to just one touchdown and another thing is that Lumberton Scored 3 and BH scored 1 and you said Lumberton wouldnt beat them so its time to stop running your mouth and if BH isn't that good why are they ranked 8th in the souteast texas preseason pole? If Bh would of beat Lumberton everybody from Lumberton would of said good job to them and left it alone but you still run your mouth and make excuses just deal with the fact that yall lost and get over it
raiderpride Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 i agree with hitsquad all the way, we would have let it go eventually, true there would have been arguements but we would have eventually told yall good game, you beat us and just let it go but yall just keep coming back with the excuses and we just keep telling you that you lost, BH aint that bad of a team and obviously nobody thought they were too bad before we beat them, all it is, is that nobody wants to give lumberton respect, we beat a good team that nobody thought we could compete with and thats all, so just deal with it and go on with your business, if you dont want to give us respect, thats fine with me, we will just use the trash talking as fuel to beat your teams
Guest Jody Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Lumberton poster, are you living in a dream world...... Your 1st team stinks and Silsbee is going to give you a wood shed beating, just like BH and any other team would do on any given day. It is a scrimmage and not even a game type scrimmage at that. The score means nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing.......good Lord. Are you sure your not a Lumberton transplant form Orange?
Hold The Rope Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 SILSBEE BETTER GET READY CUZ WE AINT SLOWIN DOWN!!! you've got that right!

beaumontballer44 Posted September 1, 2006 Report Posted September 1, 2006 Don't worry jbell it takes time to get respect and Lumberton is slowly earning it. Only time will tell. best of luck to the raiders!
