BigTimePlayer Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 congrats and I just love how Deweyville post their stats.
DC07 Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 thought it might be a little closer than this good job deweyville
BLUEDOVE3 Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 Deweyville? Thats pathectic! I didn't know they had a basketball team
oldyeller21 Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 Deweyville has a team....and they "got game"....won't you come over to play??? OH, MY BAD!! You already knew that you were just being sarcastic...OOPS!!
Smokey the Bear Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 Deweyville is 3A? 2A? How do you live in this area and read this forum and not know that Deweyville is 2A? They've been 2A as long as i can remember. Then you rip them and say you didnt know they had a basketball team when they beat yours by 14 pts?
BLUEDOVE3 Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 I don't know where Deweyville is located. But congratulations!!!
HF1 Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 HF won 2 outa 3......againjst them...every blind squirel finds a nut sometime
Vakidis Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 whatever the better team won it just shows which team is getting better and which team isn't... no excuses are needed or stupid symbolic sayings about squirrels and their nuts
HF1 Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 haha no teams just have better nights sometimes hf just had two better night to their one
AllstarDad8 Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 I'm not making any excuses because i hate when people just go on and on. But i was just wanting to state that HF beat Deweyville on a buzzer beater in OT which was Deweyville's FIRST game and 3 of their starters had fouled out. Then they beat them when two of their starters had to be gone for the whole game. Deweyville has a team this year and they are pretty good.
Lazeek Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 Regardless of who was there, who wasn't there................HF losing to Deweyville proves to me that Deweyville may in fact have a decent team, but it really shows that HF is not very good and will go 0-10 in hoops again this season.

Exactly, a loss is a loss because all that matters is the final score and whose name goes into the win column. I'm really beginning to lose patience with H-F in basketball. For example, they have the middle schoolers doing weights before basketball practice; getting ready for football. But thats for another trhead I may start.
Wildcatter Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 Same thing at OF, not really sure of the logic.
TheCardinalFan Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 So now you guys are complaining because they have the boys lifting weights. Strength is a tool used in all sports, not just football. In order to run faster, jump higher you have to get stronger. I am not talking about body builder type workouts either. Strength training and agility is the key to any athletic program.
