CLARK December, 17, 2008 Quarterback Andre Bevil became the first player to sign a letter of intent this morning to play at Lamar University when the school resumes its football program in 2010. Bevil, who played high school football at West Orange-Stark, played for Lamar coach Ray Woodard last season at Navarro College. About 15 people showed up to Bevil's signing at the West Orange football locker room.
