BLUEDOVE3 Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 i talked to Donte's mother at the YMBL tournament and she said he will be a Cardinal It's probably more definite as a student than an athlete.
Guest mffl Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 Alex Goff is rated as a 3 star prospect by Scout.com, so is John Woods. Here is Rashad Williams ESPN profile.. says he was also considering SHSU, Baylor, and Illinois State. http://insider.espn.go.com/ncf/recruiting/tracker/player?recruitId=65458&season=2009&action=login&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fncf%2frecruiting%2ftracker%2fplayer%3frecruitId%3d65458%26season%3d2009 Here's his rivals.com profile: http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=72243 Here is Bevil's Rival's profile: http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=82137#colleges
3rd stringer Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 Rivals.com is reporting that DB Tim Hayter from Trinity Valley CC has also signed letter of intent with Lamar.
Quacker37 Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 Thats a good start. Get some kids who have experience with the balance of college life with sports plus some the promising high school students and Lamar will be headed in the right direction. The better talent you bring first helps bring in more later.

What's important are the colleges that actually "made an offer" to a particular prospect. Big, big difference.

I know the difference, but rivals actually lists the schools that players say they are recruited by, that means sent information, contacted by coaches etc. If you look at his profile he has an offer from Illinois State and interest from SH and Baylor. This is from the guy's mouth or the coaches. Of course he could of made this up... but i'm just typing what I see.
3rd stringer Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 He had offers from Illinois St. and SHSU.
