KFDM COOP Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 Who is the toughest team to play at their place?
BayouB Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 Tough to win at the Reservation...I say PN-G.
piratefan Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 Gasilla do you really think it is tough to play at vidor?
WOS95 Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 vidor has proved in the past a tough place for wos to play. there was a stretch of either 2 or 3 losses in a row at pirate stadium. we finally got over the hump and beat vidor at their house in 2003.
Guest Wildcat 08 Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 I would say BC and Jasper. We'll find out how tough it is to play at WOS this year.
Bobcatfan4life Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 We'll find out how tough it is to play at WOS this year. VERY tough!!!
NewIndian Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 PN-G is always hard, this game with dayton this year could get confusing with the same colors
griff Posted August 27, 2006 Report Posted August 27, 2006 I have the same memories of the difficulty playing at Vidor. WO-S has usually brought out the best in their play. LCM is also difficult for WO-S because they don't have a big enough visitor section to hold the WO-S fans.
Guest etbu Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 Not in this area but Jacksonville and Kilgore.
NedDog Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 Not in this area but Jacksonville and Kilgore. The Tomato Bowl is kinda legendary, isn't it.
Guest Bridge City Card Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 PNG and WOS are tough places to play.
KFDM COOP Posted August 29, 2006 Author Report Posted August 29, 2006 I've seen some bad calls against WOS at home as well though.
Guest GoStangs Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Central, it's a shame you feel that way. The refs do as good a job as they can, no matter where they are. They aren't perfect, but they're certainly not biased for WOS -- believe me on that one.
Guest Living 4 Friday Nights Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 It's tough to play anywhere on the road.
WOS92 Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 Central, you should have been to our game this weekend, when we drove down to LC-M's 10 yard line with 30 seconds left and ran out of bounds. Instead of stopping the clock, they ran it out. We lost 20 seconds between plays and ended the half about an inch from the goal. I've been to more WO-S home games than you have, and I've seen PLENTY of bad calls against us. Come to think of it, I can't think of one that I've seen against Central at the Babe.
L-Town Stunners Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 WO-S, Nederland, PN-G and Vidor!!!!!! WO-S fans know what I'm talking about with Vidor.
77 Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 The man working the clock at the WOS game was taken out of the press box at the half by police because he was drunk.(not a ref) guess they hired him out of the stands.
