mjones830 Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 Just curious would you think that a Female AD for the girls and a Male for the boys be a good thing.
pseudo Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 This topic was brought up last time and they said it was a money issue.
Guest rykerx144 Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 i agree, I think it is a waste. If you find a person that cant contribute to the girls athletics as much as the guys athletics then you dont need them! So far all the names thrown around that are possible candidates for the job are excellant at supporting girls athletics as well as guys.
stevieray Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 I see this more in school districts that have 5 or more high schools
obcowboy Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 What you do is have one of your girls coaches be a girls coordinator...that way all you have to create is a stipend instead a whole new job! You have your boys HC who also doubles as AD...that'll work!
Hotrodg Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 To be honest, I don't think any SETX school districts are large enough to warrant a second AD.
raideroldtimer Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 Two AD's would be way to expensive for a single school district, it would be hard enough for even one like Beaumont. On the other hand though, maybe the school might actually consider having a Female AD, what do you think the chances of that happening would be?

From a male point of view, I would personally like to see a female AD at LCM and I think Castino would be great for the job. She’s tough and I do not believe that she would cave into the politics. Also, PNG has two AD’s one male and one female.
