Kirbyville is losing like 10 starters on Offense and like 9 starters on defense and probably half the coaching staff!  other than that they look pretty good!!  :'(

Settle down Rykerx144.  Last year is over, so don't look back... look ahead:  Returning Offense:  All-District Center, Dustin West; Second Team All-District Guard, Dillon Peel; Newcomer of The Year, RB, LeFredrick Ford; Returning Co-Starter, FB, JaMichael Ervine;  Fred Rhodes, RB, talk is he will be back;  Good young linemen to fill the gaps;  QB position will end up being good; 2nd TE, Chris Ezidore, currently takes over at the position;  Stefan Jackson, will figure in somewhere on offense;  Justin Keene will be a really good WR.

The Cats will still be able to score as always.

I think Dayton will still be pretty good. I heard that Dayton fooball won district at every level, from 7th grade all the way up to varsity. Im sure that Coach Stewart will have a plan and it will be 14 playoff appearances in a row.

That is correct...every level.  Talent will emerge...it always does...life without AJ Dugat will be hard however...what a stud that kid has been...get your behind to Texas young man and don't look back!!  There's nothing in Dayton worth sticking around for...

Ok Snuka, where are the all district picks?  No one here has seen them and we would like to post them.  Put the entire all district team on a new thread of you can.

Newton & Kirbyville will more than likely be playing San Augustine at SA.  Very tough place to play.  They will have a new coach, and better team.

SA is losing 7 Starters.  Still have the best 2 rb's.

Back up QB showed much promise when they beat Woodville.

Come on Snuka!  Don't let the cat out of the bag, so to speak!    Heck, we'll still be the underdogs.  Look at the first five games next year!  All against 3As (four playoff teams)  Diboll - Away, Jasper - Home, WOS - Away, at Liberty, Hardin Jefferson - Home

I don't know where they are.  All I heard was the report from Kirbyville last week of who all made it from there.  It should have already been released somewhere.  ???

I do know that Hazlewood was the District MVP

Musgrove was Offensive MVP

Jackson was Defensive MVP

Ford was Newcomer Offense

Keene was Newcomer Defense

You're JV got creamed by WO-S in a scrimmage

Newton will be lights out next season. They going to bring the title back to Newton...

If I am not mistaken, Newton returns three starters on offense (QB - Flannigan; RB - Alfred; G - Adams) and three starters on defense (DT - McBride; DE - Mattox; DB - Shankle).  Those are some good players, particularly Flannigan, Alfred, Mattox and Shankle. But, that is only six returning starters.  3 on each side of the ball.

Losing Ross, Foster, Burch and Stephen Alfred will be huge.

Daingerfield has 7 returning starters on defense and 6 returning on offense, including their qb, rb and top wide receiver.  All this from a team that just won state.  If Newton plans on bringing the title home, they will have to get out of the Region first.  And, that will not be easy.

What else does Newton have coming back?
