raideroldtimer Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 hmmm, livingston sounds like a good candidate ;D oh and its LCM, not bojo. Get 'em LCM, who want to be a west texas copycat anyway. Just wondering though? What with their new coach coming from that area, should we start calling PNG, POJO or maybe Po-N-Go? ;D

jessemarioneaux Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 I would have to say the Jaguars they have been improving but you got to look at PNG with a good coaching staff they got they will be a threat in the district but we shall see.

bojofootball Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 yeah because apparently tradition wins games for PNG.
pngfan66 Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 yeah because apparently tradition wins games for PNG. well how many games did LCM win last season ?
NewIndian Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 and exactly how good has LC-M ever been? have they ever been good and remember i know the history i played for them in the 80s
shovel Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 and exactly how good has LC-M ever been? have they ever been good and remember i know the history i played for them in the 80s You can go back further than that! I played for them in the 70s. It was the early 60's when they were any good. Lets hope coach Crouch turns them around. I don't see it happening this year though.
sox61fan Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 LOL Thats Funny. You should give stand up comedy a try.
PNGFan Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 I honestly think its going to be a toss up this year. With all the coaching changes within the district its going to be after the 3rd. week of the season before we get a clear picture.
bojofootball Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 actually LCM went pretty far when crouch was the OC years ago
skipper Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 how far did thay go if i might ask.coach crouch is a super guy and is good with kids a very good teacher,i wish him and lc-m the best
bojofootball Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 I honostly can't remember but I remember reading on here a while back when he was first hired it talked about him bringing them pretty far and what not.
bojofootball Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Regional finals in '97, the furthest any LCM team has ever went. Just read it ;D
raideroldtimer Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 and exactly how good has LC-M ever been? have they ever been good and remember i know the history i played for them in the 80s The year they started being referred to as BoJo was the year they went 10 - 0 if I'm not mistaken, so to answer your question, yeah they were real good. Had to go look it up, it was 1994. Okay, this is the last time I'll modify this since you guys say they were better years ago, LCM has been in the post season 6 times by my count. 1961 Bi-District Round, 1969 Bi-District Round, 1992 Bi-District Round, 1994 Area Round, 1995 Bi-District Round, 1997 Quarter-Final Round (surprise there). They way I see it, the 90's were the best decade for LCM.
bojofootball Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Not quite. They only won a few, the most in one season was like 4 with BOJO. Barely missed playoffs.

showtyme1033 Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 ive been reading this a few mins now and every post has ozen ranked really low....I was just wanting to know why everyone is counting this team out ....from seeing them in their spring game they seem to be on course to have a pretty good year...of course they lost a few big named players but they seem to have a solid group of kids....and i hear nelson is doing great in keeping them disciplined and motivated
