badndn Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 Apparently now they expect us to loose to Utah Valley State since last week they had us at 21-9 and 11-5.
Guest mffl Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 UVSU is going to be a tough one.. we play @ SFA 2 days before, have a day travel, then play the game the next day.. not easy on your body.
Guest coachacola Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 Utah Valley beat UL-Lafayette by 30. They play UTA next week so we'll see how well they play against them. If Harper is healthy again and Williams keeps improving like he has then Lamar should just keep getting better and better.
Lazeek Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 I could care less about rankings!!!!!!!! Win the games that you are suppose to win, compete and possible steal a game that you are not suppose to and you will find yourselves right where you want to be.

SHSU beat ULL the other night by 2 on the road.. supposedly ULL was also more healthy so it was a "good" win for the Kats.. those 2 games against SHSU should be good ones this year, can't wait to beat some bearkat a$$!
Red Headed Stepchild Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 Sagarin ratings will mean more in late January
TexasTerror Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 #175 SHSU 17-12, 10-6 I'd take that or a bit better all things considering with this young squad.

Also would mean we won a few on the road in SLC play, which will only be a good sign for the future. Just hope we knock off the #1 and #2 team once (if not twice) along the way. Hope for some close games, so our players get used to that clutch time in the SLC.
