That is pretty awesome. You'd think he would have gotten more than 103 carries. ??? Dwight Smith from Carthage averaged nearly 12 yards a carry; racked up 2820 yards and 43 touchdowns. Pretty impressive as well.
liltex Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 But then we do not know if a injury set him back a few games or he played on a pass oriented team or shared duties w/other running backs.
liltex Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 Off the subject slightly I wish I had a dollar for every yard A.J.Dugat (Dayton) ran back n forth all over the field in his career of rushing, recieving, interception returns,kickoff/punt returns.
franksnbeans Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 But then we do not know if a injury set him back a few games or he played on a pass oriented team or shared duties w/other running backs. True. Daingerfield had a really good running back in a spread offense. He only ran the ball 194 times in 16 games. 12 carries/game. They just spread the ball around alot. But, 1700+ yards on just 103 carries. Wow.
