Carthage defensive tackle DeShun Williams, who finished with more than 100 tackles and six sacks, was named the district's Defensive MVP. Teammate Jalen Claiborne (23 catches, 420 yards, 3 TDs) was a Co-Newcomer of the Year.

Other superlatives included Jacolby Spencer of Diboll (Offensive MVP), Ben Armstrong of Jasper (Co-Newcomer of the Year) and Scott Surratt of Carthage (Coach of the Year).
