shorttexas1
THIS IS A ROUND ROBIN tOURNY AND THERE ARE PLENTY OF THESE THAT GO ON IN THE NATION... tHE CHAMPION IS USUALLY CHOSEN BY POINT TOTAL IF A TIE OCCURS. FREE THROW PERCENTAGE SOUNDS LIKE A WAY TO PROMOTE A TEAM FOR ITS FONDAMENTALS... WHICH IS FINE BUT HAPPENS WHEN ONE TEAM SHOOTS 50 FREE THROWS AND MAKE 70% AND A TEAM SHOOTS 10 FREE THROWS AND MAKES 80%... THIS SEEMS VERY UNFAIR! There is a possibility that as many as 3 teams could go undefeated in this tourney. Everyone doesn't play each other. That's why they came up with this tiebreaker system. You could win all your games and still be tied with someone.

Explination... You could win all the games by 20 + points and another team could win all their games by 10 + points and another team could win all their games by single digits but shoot free throws well and win the tourny. Guest kosmo
Being a BC supporter has nothing to do with it. BC was not going to win the tourney anyway so me being a supporter has nothing to do with it. The coaches knew the rules going in and judging by the amount of teams, no one, except the fans seemed to have a problem with the tiebreaker. Yeah...and in college football you can beat a team, and finish with the same conference record and overall record and not make the championship game. See OU/TEXAS. It's just the way things go. Win all your games, then see what happens.
