Predictions In 21-3A This Year?

I am not making any predictions as to where BC or HJ will wind up in the standings next year. But two years ago when more starters for BC were sophomores than there were seniors the game was decided in the last minute which HJ won. I don't think that game could be called a whipping by whichever team that won. Last year HJ won pretty handidly. However, remember that the game was played no more than two weeks after hurricane Ike wiped out the town of BC. A lot of kids had not returned to school yet because they did not have a house to live in. Many of these kids were starters for the Cardinals. That being said I think the BC/HJ game is a toss up as to who will win.

P. S. I would like to thank the HJ school district on the way they handled the BC football players after the game last year. That was a very noble gesture.

On that same note the HJ volleyball team was great to the Lady Cards as well. I saw it at BC Gym. Becca Mathews said it was overwhelming what the Lady Hawks were able to do for BC.

yah i'd doubt BC would beat us (HJ) this coming season in football, we still have our main players coming back and with jacoby leading the offense...BC aint in the picture for 3rd place

I don't know HJ, BC has almost everybody coming back also and they did win last year. Good luck though.

You cant possibly be saying that they beat us this past year cuz we KILLED yall this year in football. and i excpect the same next year

Wow seriously?? We had a FRESHMEN that started at running back for his first game EVER on VARSITY.

I'm pretty sure Bridge City is going back to there old days. Smash mouth football competing with W.O.S. and Silsbee.

ya know, im totally fine with everyone underestimating HJ, cus i remember everyone had us picked to finish last in district last year, probly not even win a single game... and we went to the playoffs with a 3-2 district record, only losses to WOS (1st in district) and Silsbee (2nd in district)

one freshman player doesn't make or break a game... he is in no way single handedly responsible for the loss.. everyone brings up the fact that a freshman started at running back.. well even if BC had had a senior running back it wouldn't have mattered seeing as how BC's defense had a hard time keeping HJ out of the endzone..

I kinda said that wrong we were suffering positions and we had a freshmen step up on offense and defense and be a play maker, actually two freshmen. So lets just drop this game its almost been a year, looking forward to a good game this year.

We sure scarred them in 04 by sending them into overtime with us, and they were whopping us in 05 and they beat us by a touchdown for the district crown,, and I'm pretty sure it wont get that out of hand this year son  8)

Well since you called me "son" and got all serious then maybe I should listen up! ;) Thats awesome that youre satisfied with only coming close and NEVER actually doing it! We use to laugh at certain schools because every year we heard the exact same song and dance.."we scored first" or " we almost did this or that!"  Son it doesnt matter what you almost did or didnt do, it doesnt matter what you scored,when,or how, what matters is you guys HAVE NEVER BEATEN WOS and Im positive your whittle feelings are gonna be destroyed again this year! You guys need to focus on beating HJ because thats the ONLY chance you have of getting into the playoffs! Im predicting WOS hanging at least 65... good luck covering our TWO D1 receivers!!! :o
