Anybody know how Livingston looks for 2009?They seem to be improving every year.Gave Dayton all they wanted for almost 3 quarters and played better than most playoff teams did against the Broncos this year.

i just found out that quinney garrett is a senior this year, so my dark horse is WOS.

in district 23-a i think High island is the dark horse although i still think they will miss the playoffs but they will give some teams in district play a scare

Is that the same Quinney Garrett that is called "Q"?  I got him his last year as a flag eligible kid in Pop Warner.  At 7 he could throw a tight spiral 30-35 yards, at a reciever,and get it there 80% of the time.  We were the only Pop Warner flag team with a passing attack...we just didn't have enough kids that could catch the ball.

Mercka (sp?) is definitely a good one and forrest tyler at RB will be a good one also... Crosby being good won't surprise me one bit.

just saying, lcm has 10 returning sophomore starters, a freshman starter, and a several juniors plus at least 4 to 5 players who will start but wouldnt play under moody.  oh yeah, and we have coach crouch

Trust me, WOS will not be hurting at RB. They have some great running backs who probably could have started at other schools last year. They will not miss a beat. Look out for Freshman runningback Britton Lindsey. Might end up being one of the best runningbacks WOS has ever had. He will be playing on Varsity next year as a Soph.

I think in 5A next year your Darkhorse from the Houston area will be Conroe High School. They are returning quite a few starters and have a big, tough O-Line.

tam2121. this lindsey kid will be up there with the elit running backs that the mustangs have had over the years ,he has what it takes a very smart kid one that coaches love to coach. now i will pick vidor as the dark horse
