Nominations for the teams and awards were submitted by members in the forum as well e-mail messages from coaches, media members, fans and players. We have included at least one player from each school in the EastexSports.com coverage area, and do so because we know that each school puts an extreme amount of effort into the season and all teams deserve at least a small amount of recognition. We know that no team is PERFECT, but we have put a solid amount of time in the creation of the following awards. Hopefully as more seasons come and go we will have the resources to recognize more players as well as uncover some of the hidden gems we may have missed.
