Guest coachacola Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 Win or lose, here's the best news: The good news for Lamar, as it heads into hostile territory, is a full deck of Cards. Barring some sort of mishap at the game-day shootaround, LU will be as healthy as it’s been all season. Six-seven senior Tristan Worrell, 6-11 sophomore Coy Custer and 6-2 sophomore Skyler Williams have all been cleared to play. That comes on the heels of getting 6-5 freshman Charlie Harper back in uniform a week ago. We need everybody healthy for conference play.
badndn Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 Do you play those guys much against Memphis or do you get them the extra rest before the conference schedule starts? I might play Coy and Skylar limited minutes, but let Tristan go full strength because he is a Senior and might not get another chance to play a top team like Memphis. Questionable though if you rest them or do they need to get back into game situations. Charlie Harper looked really rusty in his first game back the other night, so the game against Memphis may be needed for the four of them to get on track??
