Registration will be on the following dates: January 24th 10:00am-3:00pm January 27th 3:00pm-7:00pm January 29th 3:00pm-7:00pm January 31st 10:00am-3:00pm Coaches Meeting February 1st at 2:00pm Coaches Selection Meeting February 4th at 6:30pm Try Outs February 21st at 9:00am-5:00pm Make Up Try Outs February 22nd at 1:30pm Draft for all leagues on Sunday, February 22nd after Make Up Try Outs Coaches Meeting March 1st Opening Day Saturday, March 21st Scheduled Field Work Days: February 7th February 14th

Same as in the past and I want your son on my team!!!!! ;) LOL already had 3 coaches ask about him He may be in demand, we had every teams catcher on our All-Star team last year but he is the only one that didn't move up. The reason I asked though was I don't remember what it was last year, and I have 2 playing now. My Father-in-law has agreed to pay the entry fee for us this year too.

Lazeek Posted January 26, 2009 Author Report Posted January 26, 2009 I was told that TC had about 70-80 kids sign up this past weekend. There are still several more dates to sign up!!!! Last year I think that TC had about 250-270 kids play!!!!! It is springtime, let's play ball!!!!!

Something new for this year is a season long parking pass. It is $30 and gives you unlimited parking for the season. You can purchase additional passes for spouses, family members, etc. for $5. This is a great deal and hopefully everyone will take advantage of it.
Castor27 Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 Got both kids signed up today. Found out the good news is they are going to rotate umpire assignments. Pinto umpires Shetland and Shetland umpires Pinto. I like that change.

All TC players and parents will notice the improvements once the season begins. Here is a list of items that are being replaced or repaired during the last few weeks and over the workdays: Power Washing Dugouts Power Washing All Concrete Slabs Repainting all Dugouts and Poles Cleaning of Maintenance Barn and around it Pinto Field Royal Blue Wind Screen from foul pole to foul pole Building 10-15 New Picnic Tables Weed Eating Mowing Seeding Parking Lot Repair Parking Lot Boundaries And many other little small projects. Thanks to the New and Improved TCYB Board and especially Sean Williford (Field Director) for their time and effort to make the Twin County Youth Baseball Fields a great enviroment for our youth to grow up and play the game of baseball.

I know we are young. We have at least 2 kids that have never played before and possibly a third who hasn't been at practice yet.

Yeah join the club..........we used the pitching machine yesterday and it is a lot different than my son thought it would be. We have only 3 8 year olds and have 8 kids who have played before and 4 that are newbies.......should be fun though!!!
