Yeah right you wouldnt have half your team. You dont understand that Kelly has to compete with all the public schools for players who think they wont get exposure. Also Kelly is HANDS DOWN the best school in the area for academics. So good luck keeping players eligible at Kelly.

Second of all look at the record BRO Kelly has been runner up, State Champ, State Champ, State Champ, and made the final four last year in the last 6 year so lets cool it on that. We were not worse than the score indicating we had yall down and made silsbee work for the majority of the game. Id also like to see that taunting your talking about? The dunk at the end of the game? If thats the kind of character you want your team to  have you can have that. Id also like to know where you got 47 threes? did you look at the 4 and the 7 and say that sounds good to me.

I completely disagree with that. Half of the time there is a great team out there who has recruiting some major talent to their school to play and some out of this world team.

Hey Aggies are we. please stop with the pity party for Stallworth.  He gives as good as he gets.  The foul totals for the game do not back up your concerns.

My concerns were not soley based on that game. I have broadcasted and/or watched at least 14 of the Tiger 18 games this year and my observation is that D.C. is not getting his fair share of the calls inside. He is very aggressive to the bucket, I'll admit, but his quickness deserves to be rewarded with foul calls and he is not getting them.

As for the game against Kelly, yes there were more fouls called on Kelly than on Silsbee. But, when you are fouling every few seconds in that last 2 minutes of the game to try and give your team a chance to win, then the numbers will definetly look one-sided.

Oh, and nobody expected Silsbee to blowout Kelly, even though we did the first time we played. :

Didn't St. Pius, who hadn't won a district game in over 2 years, win the TAPPS state championship a couple of years ago?  How can you not win a district game and still even get in the playoffs to win a state championship?

Actually Kelly only won one district game and ended up going to the state semi-finals last year.  Fortunately, Tapps has changed the rules this year and fewer teams will make the playoffs.  I think your point is a good one.  By the way, I just thought I'd mention that St. Thomas just beat Westbrook.  Kelly and St. Thomas play next tuesday at Kelly.  We'll find out more about how good Kelly is or isn't.

You don't have to mention scores.  Saying you know where a team stands based on the outcome of a game versus a common opponent is silly.  And even if it isn't a common opponent you would then be basing it on the fact that they are 5A?  A's don't mean a ton either. That doesn't say anything about where a team stands.  Games, especially in high school, are about match-ups.

Lazeek you really do need to read more carefully.  I simply pointed out the St. Thomas vs. Westbrook result to give readers an idea of what kind of team St. Thomas is.  That's it, nothing more.  My point is that this website has Kelly ranked third in small school/tapps category.  They have been beaten fairly soundly three times by the two teams ahead of them, and have beaten the teams ranked below them fairly soundly.  Kelly has not played schools like westbrook/central/nederland.  Therefore, I simply said that the St. Thomas game would help us see just how good they might be.  You are arguing against something that I didn't even say.
