DP#1FAN Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Deweyville's Zane Williams, who is now an Angelina Roadrunner was named to the JUCO All Star baseball team. He will be playing in the All Star game in Waco, October 6-7. He was also selected All Conference team as a right fielder after batting .426 in conference and .360 for the season. Thanks KOGT!
CoachB Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Congratulations Zane. I have met you and you seem like a quality kid. Now, I wish you had some eligibility left, because I could use your stick in our line-up this year. Coach Buff
rhino1877 Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 Awesome!!!!!! Keep up the good work and it will pay off!!!!!
use2baplaya Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 Good Lord !! If Gilligan don't pick Zane up something is wrong !!!!!!
DP#1FAN Posted August 31, 2006 Author Report Posted August 31, 2006 Well, If Gilligan doesn't somebody will near by.
MIF04 Posted September 4, 2006 Report Posted September 4, 2006 Odds are Lamar will miss this one.......just a statistical hunch.
DP#1FAN Posted October 14, 2006 Author Report Posted October 14, 2006 Our friends to the East of us are knocking on the door for this kid. I wish he could end up at Lamar.
B A N K Y Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 It would be nice to see Zane play at the new complex that is being built in Nacogdoches. Stephen F. Austin
proudpiratefan Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 It will be nice to have Zane play near by. He has a pretty good fan club. His parents and brothers along with about 7 other people drove to Waco to watch him play in the JUCO all star game. It was great!!!!
themasterofbaseball Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Yeah its close to go to Lamar...but....that old fart will screw u over as quick as u think he wont.....I will say it again WATCH OUT FOR HIM!!!!! Zane is to good for Lamar. 8)
KainerBushEsque Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 I heard that Zane is more than likely goin to sign with UALR (University of Arkansas Little Rock). What conference is that?? And does anyone know how their program is? And is it true is goin there??
2bagger Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 Is Zane a sophomore this year? I assume so since his stats are posted which i guess are from last year. If this is the case then he should have played in the All-Star game this past fall, because guys don't move on to new schools and then come back to play in the juco All-Star game. No big deal, I'm just a little confused on how old he is and when Lamar should "get on him".
B A N K Y Posted February 25, 2008 Report Posted February 25, 2008 What is going on with Zane Williams? Where is he playing ball?
