Again - it's not Lamar Beaumont - it's Lamar University.

It says Lamar University - Beaumont, not Lamar Beaumont.  Ruckdad's point is that people still say Lamar - Port Arthur, Lamar - Orange and Lamar - Beaumont, as if they are at the same level.  That all changed when the LU system merged with the Texas State system.

Well, if Lamar joined the Texas Tech University System they could call it Lamar Tech University.  At least nobody says Lamar State College - Beaumont, that would be totally wrong.

But back to the original question.  There's been no mention of softball yet from LU.  I think after they get going on the stadium renovations they'll announce the return of softball.  I believe they are still planning on building a soccer field by Vincent-Beck field plus a field house for baseball, softball and soccer.

Angelo State is in the Tech system and is still (and will remain) Angelo State. Part of the agreement, I believe.

South Park Jr College, whatever... When will they announce softball and the 3rd womens sport. And stadium plans...

We haven't seen drawings? What is your sig? Of course that is the Athletic complex.
