how do you feel the district race will shake out in 09   i know it's early, but it's something to discuss ;D

LCM is still solid, even though they lost numerous seniors.  The program is loaded with talent and with a good setter #5 will be back.  Pending that the team don't come down with the FLU as they did during the playoffs.

PNG, Ozen and Nederland will also be at the top as well.

Until some changes occur ,like retirement ,Nederland will continue to lose young talent ,which is ashame. If you look at how strong volleyball in  nederland at the jr High level is ,they have so much promise .

I know what you mean, however, it’s a total reversal with us, our girls don't learn the game until they get into High School.  It’s kind of sad.

LCM, Nederland, PNG, and Ozen...PNG really doesn't seem to have a lot of talent in the program right now so I wouldn't be shocked if they aren't in the playoffs...but I didn't think they were all that talented the past two years and Comeaux just continued to win.

Yes a very talented coach can take you a long way.  Will be fun to see how this comes out....

PN-G is always tough but I think this year it will be LcM folled by Ned, Png and Ozen. I think Coach Leech is back on her game and rememers the lessons learned from coach Comeaux. LCM just has good talent with good coaching.
