rollinac Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 The fact that Joe Buck is on this list makes me wonder what moron made this list up. Anyone ride their father's reputation any more than Joe Buck? Monotone... Pat Sumerall...top 5 just for the voice

Summerall and Madden make me want to kill myself and I subscribe to no list that Larry Wadzeck isn't on, LOL!
McLovin Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 Dick Vitale is sooooo annoying!!! Someone shouldn't have to strain that hard to speak!!!
McLovin Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 Random Announcer: "Big gain for about 24, man has the off-season really paid off for this guy!" John Madden: "You see Tim, he carried the ball on the football field...football is spelled with two o's just like cookie." Random Announcer: "Thanks for the insight John." John Madden: "That's what 30 years in football will get you..." Random Announcer: "Insight????" John Madden: "No, cookies..." LT on Waterboy: "Which brings me to my second point, kids. Don't smoke crack!"
rollinac Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 Joe Buck may as well type what he's saying...the crack on Randy Moss in the Green Bay/Minnesota playoff game from a few years ago...c'mon Joe Buck Joe Buck You Suck
WOSHIGHc/o2001 Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 Was it Joe Buck who made some comments to Pete Rose a few years back at an All Star game? Oh yeah I hate Joe Buck
Gabe Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 Didn't Joe Buck once say something close to "if you don't score more runs than the other guy, you won't win many baseball games"? Wow, great info Joe. Glad you are here to inform me.

Gabe Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 Nantz, Musberger and Summerall are all very low to me.
rapayne Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 Nantz is great and I love him doing a college basketball game!
midcountymadness Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 My top 4: 1 Cosell 2 Berman 3 Costas 4 Madden
rollinac Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 I'm sure we'd all come up with something different...Vin Scully wouldn't be my top choice but he's a top notch announcer no doubt. Joe Buck is just terrible though...and yes he did say that you won't win many baseball games scoring less runs than the other team. Go and check his call on AD's 40 yard td run from over the weekend. Can you get any more nondescript? Announcers are supposed to add something to the game...he adds nothing.
WO-S 89 Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 I love to listen to Milo Hamilton of the Astros and Craig Way do Longhorns football games. Milo Hamilton called Hank Aaron 715 HR.

Craig Way does a great job of painting a picture for the listener. Makes me feel like I can see the game unfold.
WO-S 89 Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 Craig Way also does a great job on high school football.
rapayne Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 Craig Way also does a great job on high school football. Craig Way makes me want to kill myself!!! Bill Shoning was great on Texas football, and is now awesome with the Spurs. I miss Gene and Jim on the Rockets broadcasts a great deal.

rollinac Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 C'mon Mr. Payne...Craig Way does a pretty good job. His call on Vince Young's TD in the Natl. Champ. was classic. Hate the man's college, not the announcer.
Guest tigersvoice Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 I personally like #39. ;D OK, OK - you said this yesterday! Or is this yesterday's post?
