Basketball tailgate party

ok Koop here is your chance to help us get this started on channel 6 sports. How about a tailgate party for basketball. Every Friday nite to cover the games and scores for Tues. and Fri. Even a weekly scoreboard show would be nice. Girls and boys. Just gather the scores and put em out there.

coaches need to assign stat reporting to a student for extra credit during basketball. There has got to be a computer geek who would love it. ;D ;D ;D

OK all you basketball fans out there lets make our own tailgate party. report your scores we dont care what part of the state you live in just send us your scores from 1A to 5A we would like to know who is winning and who is not ;D

This is a great idea, and dont say football is more important....How many State Champion football teams have come out of this area lately....well you have a lot more success with basketball. So show it.....

Football brings in much more fans than basketball.  When is the last time a basketball game brought in 14,000 fans for a game? Homecomings are during football, the pep rallies are during football, etc....  In Texas more people are fans of football than basketball.

The deal is getting the sponsers to do it.

Have you ever tried to get sponsors because I bet if you put it out their to the local folks they would back it.You have to sell it if the folks want to see it. If you were the first to do it and folks watched your station for it everyone else would do the same BE A VISIONARIES  YOU CAN DO IT !!!!

Look at this stat..... fans per participant....

Band, cheerleaders, trainers, coaches families, etc....  that is why there is a big  difference in attendance...
