You forgot about Stallworth, so they are 10 deep. They have been about 11 deep all year. I don't know where some of these people got the 12-14 deep. I have seen 90% of Silsbee's games this year, they regularly rotate 11 players, all seeing first half action and most times first quarter action. It's just how Travis plays it.

Silsbee only suited out 9 players last night. Starting post Stallworth did not play for medical reasons and 2 other players are ineligible.

The JV player that I thought would be moved up will not be moved up till Feb. 4.

All 9 players are the regular rotation for Silsbee, minus Stallworth.

that does help explain it.  the only retort i have to that is that if all 9 are in the regular rotation, the common reasoning "you can't ask your subs to come in and not give 100%" does not really apply, and the foot should've been taken off the gas rather than pressed down harder.

Having broadcasted the game, I can only say you just had to be there to see how the game unfolded. If you were not there, I can see where someone would think the foot stayed pressed down. This really wasn't the case.

the tigers were in a half court defense for just about the entire second half.... it was just that lopsided i felt bad for bridge city.... i will say this though.... they pass the ball way too much they would pass up all of the shots they did get... they ran a good offense but everytime they couldve shot they passed it...

Actually I am not surprised at all.  BC seems like they gave up at times against HJ on Tuesday, so they likely gave up in Silsbee as well.

aggie and tigersvoice, thanks for clarifying.  i honestly was not trying to sound accusatory, and i think that the tone of your responses represent the fact that you understood that.  i do understand that sometimes leads can grow when you're not even trying to do so.

I realized that as long as I been on this thread no matter what. People never think before they say stuff. How in the world you come up with Silsbee bragging. Man another fan from HJ running their mouth and adding fuel to the fire for when Silsbee comes to town a week from tomorrow.  HJHAWKHECKLER409 is you are going to talk trash do it politely so that it does not give anymore motivation to Silsbee.  HJ has the hands full as it is and they do not need anymore incentive to come into Sour Lake!!!!!!
