Jasperdog94 Posted May 21, 2009 Report Posted May 21, 2009 No Jasper this year? Maybe it's because of the coaching change.
KFDM COOP Posted May 26, 2009 Author Report Posted May 26, 2009 Don't think they are as of right now.
Lefty99 Posted May 26, 2009 Report Posted May 26, 2009 Diboll State Qualfying Tourney Is Now Full Diboll Hardin Jefferson Carthage Huntington Spring Hill Newton Garrison Kirbyville That should be one interesting tourney!!!
rapayne Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 Diboll defeated Carthage last year in the final and I am expecting more of the same this year!!
BigTuna Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 There will also be a Lineman Challenge @ Diboll on the 13th. If you've never seen one of these, it is worth coming to watch. Almost like a scaled down "World's Strongest Man" contest for high school linemen. Most of the schools listed are competing in this as well, and some schools are coming just for the LC.
bullets13 Posted June 13, 2009 Report Posted June 13, 2009 HJ and Carthage Qualify! that's a bit of a surprise. go hawks!
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted June 13, 2009 Report Posted June 13, 2009 HJ and Carthage Qualify! that's a bit of a surprise. go hawks! how good will HJ be this season?
bullets13 Posted June 13, 2009 Report Posted June 13, 2009 HJ and Carthage Qualify! that's a bit of a surprise. go hawks! how good will HJ be this season? based on last season i would assume not very good, but this certainly bodes pretty well for them, so who knows???
hj_hawk_60 Posted June 13, 2009 Report Posted June 13, 2009 There will also be a Lineman Challenge @ Diboll on the 13th. If you've never seen one of these, it is worth coming to watch. Almost like a scaled down "World's Strongest Man" contest for high school linemen. Most of the schools listed are competing in this as well, and some schools are coming just for the LC. almost every team dropped out of the Linemen challenge... Diboll entered 2 teams, hunington had a team, and HJ had a team. HJ won the linemen challenge as well as qualifying for state in the 7on7, but because there were not a certain number of teams the linemen challenge could not be counted as a state qualifier...
HJ-Hawks25 Posted June 13, 2009 Report Posted June 13, 2009 HJ is looking pretty legit right now. They lost in the pool play first game against Diboll by 1 touchdown. Afterwards they beat Kirbyville, Newton, and then Diboll. Carthage was a good team though. they have athletes on both defense and offense.
