Who should i bet on nxt fri H-J or Silsbee!!!!!

I got alot of guys that wanna give me action on either team..I just dont know who to bet on or against..lol...Its hard to bet against H-J big three and at home...I luv Shannon R. game but will it b enuff at H-J....can someone please help me make sum money..I need convincing facts

Actually, you can go even further back to my playing days and Silsbee beat HJ a few times in the Hawks gym. In fact, we won the HJ Christmas Classic 2 or 3 times while I was in school, beating HJ in the finals a couple of times.

I believe it wasn't until the last couple of years is when HJ actually started beating Silsbee.

Not soooo fast my friend..Lazeek i gotta call u out on this 1....you think H-J coaching staff is better than tha Tigers...U bettr think again...I give silsbee that 1 because they have the great Fred Williams on their side...so that make 3 strongs coaches for them 2...Even tho hes not the head or assistant he is where travis gets his game plans from..I promise you that!!!!!

If he is not on the bench during the game then he does not count!!!!  I would take Todd, Clay and Jeff anyday of the week over Travis, Ira and the freshman coach at Silsbee.

Record speaks for itself!!!!!  Travis has had a great career at Silsbee and Todd has had a great career at EC, Kountze and now HJ.  That does not include the playoff runs and district championships that Clay and Jeff had as head coaches in the past as well.

Oh that's right, records weren't kept until you guys started beating Silsbee, which started just a couple of years ago. I guess all those wins prior just don't count. ::)

I'll play by your rules just this once. The record stands at 4-3, HJ. The one extra win was the Montagne game.

hj and silsbee hasnt been bitter rivals since they been playing in the same district it used to be Kountze and Hj remember the last 3 years is what matters in this arguement

Most 3A schools don't be 4A school's on a regular basis.  So I would agree that over the years that Silsbee does have a better head to head record than HJ does.  But if you want to count what really matters we can....

HJ 3

Silsbee 0

I knew you would come with that, but we are speaking just head to head.

Remember, you guys did go 4A for a little while.

Regarding your 3-0 bit, I say it's just 1-0, since our 4A days don't count.

Silsbee wins!!!!!  More experience, more depth, more athletes, better schedule, Shannon Robinson and I mean they are Silsbee!!!!!!  Only advantage is that HJ has the better coaching staff!!! ;D ;D ;D

  HJ coach is a great coach,but i no the head coach,and the asst.coach real well @SilsbeeThey are both great coach's @ both HS,but i would bet on the asst.coach @ Silsbee ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

who has a bettr startn 5?? I kno H-J got the big three and comapany and Silsbee has Shannon and company....H-J probaly has a better startn 5...Silsbee has a bettr bench...Coaching staff is even...so therefore the game has to b a pick'm...now it comes down to home court advantage where H-J has a huge edge...leaning towards betting the house on H-J

I agree that HJ has the better starting 5, that Silsbee has the better bench and that HJ has the home court advantage.  How can you say that the coaching is a tie when Sutherland has coached in like 6 state tourneys and his assistants have both led their respective teams to either regionals or deep into the playoffs.  Coach Davis has led Tatum and Jasper into the Regional tournaments.  Coach Lee has led his team deep into the playoffs as well.

I expect Coop's line next week assuming that both teams are still undefeated after tonight and Tuesday's games to be HJ -3.  We will see.

i disgree cuz after your 3 the rest of your starting group has nothing on the the other 2 starters for silsbee
