HillGuy Posted January 24, 2009 Report Posted January 24, 2009 From the Baytown Sun Barbers Hill take over 19-4A lead HOUSTON – Four Lady Eagle players scored in double digits and a 65-42 win over North Forest, coupled with Dayton’s upset of C.E. King, propelled Barbers Hill’s girls to first in District 19-4A. The Lady Eagles are 8-1 in district, 20-7 overall after Shannon Evans and Jasmine Carter each scored 12 points and Chelsea Eppler and Kendall Shaw chipped in 10 apiece. Shaw also grabbed 12 rebounds. Barbers Hill hosts Galena Park Tuesday. ..................BH now in full control of their own destiny. Either win out, or one loss (unlikely) would secure a district championship. BH would most likely play #4 out of the GT district in the first round.
