now i bleed burnt orange til i die....but blake griffin is a absolute beast....26 points 17 boards against OSU...10 staight dub-dub games....and dont forget thunder personel in the crowd at the game....

this would be a sick combo after griffin has a couple years to flower in the nba....

Durant, Griffin, and Jeff Green.....i never thought i could say this but the thunder may be a force in the next 5 years or so...maybe SOONER haha.....

maybe to even draw comparsion to the boston big 3 of garnett allen and pierce....

This kind of puts the Thunder in a bind though.  They were in position to move Green to PF and Start KD at the three... This has been working well for them.  Now KD will need to go down to the two and Green will be the three... But add in Westbrook and a decent center and this team will be tall and dangerous.  6'10, 6'9", 6'9", 6'3, and a 6'10 or better center.

However I suggest they get a nice 6'5" or taller shooting gaurd with three point shooting ability, move KD to the three and Lamar Odon (six man) Jeff Green.

They are young but Durant is getting scarey good, Jeff Green just needs to find consistancy, and Blake ha the potential to be a star.  With Westbrook steadily improving at the PG they could be more stacked than the current Laker and Celtic teams.  It will take some time and it will take a coach that will teach these kids how to play good team D, and they may be scary.  They have all the skill to be a great defensive team too!

Where does Jai Lucas fit into the mix? And obviously J'Covan Brown didn't make it to UT this Spring.

Next year for UT will be very peculiar.  If James stays it will be even more to ponder on…  Mason and Gary Johnson have put there stamp on being starters… Dexter may well be on that same track.  They Say this 6’2†Avery kid can flat out score, and 6’7†Hamilton is a pure scoring SF, and 6’6†Williams from Duncanville is one of the best young shooters around.  Then you have Jai who is a great ball handler and can shoot the bal just as well… That kid is a true PG.

If James stays I think it unfolds like this.

James … Barnes will allow him to stay here because he wants to do what’s best for his career.

Mason

Lucas

Here Mason is the question, can one of these kids knock this senior out of his starting role… I don’t think Barnes will do that.  So we have a bench of Freshman that will be high impact guys.  Balbay will be the back-up PG and there is still a Bevy of Bigs on the bench.  Barnes could go three guards though and allow Avery or Hamilton to crack the starting line-up and put Dexter on the bench… But this goes against the James as a SF development that Barnes initiated.

If James leaves after this year then here come the Freshman.  I think Jai will start regardless because Balbay is not ready.  The way everyone is raving about Avery he could start over both of the big SF that are coming in.  But that will make UT small with the three guard line-up and Gary at center… Don’t think Barnes wants that…
