Guest ST4life Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 Still talking bout last year???????? well considering that Silsbee has there starters back from last season except 1 player I guess that gives me alittle room to talk...........
Lazeek Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I would love to see Huntington win and will be pulling for Huntington, but the visiting teams DON'T win at Hudson!!!! Do you think HJ could beat them at home? HJ lost to Hudson this year in Sour Lake.........so NO I do not think that HJ could beat them in Lufkin. Silsbee would beat Hudson in Silsbee but would lose in Hudson.

Lazeek Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I really feel like HJ and Silsbee could beat Hudson if they meet in the playoffs.

Master T Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 Silsbee beat Jasper by 44 points. Silsbee beat HJ by 10 LH lost to Jasper by 1. LH beat HJ in an ot by 5. Look at the outcome. I know Silsbee would beat LH by double digit.
CMURDA 02 Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 diff. match-ups... Hudson can and will beat either one in the playoffs
w518991 Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 diff. match-ups... Hudson can and will beat either one in the playoffs If Hudson can't match up with Jaspers guards they won't match up with Silsbee's guards ...your right different match up
Guest ST4life Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 diff. match-ups... Hudson can and will beat either one in the playoffs I will bet you anything that your are nuts......... Silsbee will kill Hudson in the play-offs........
GOT HEART? WE DO Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 Come on guys and gals its the second round teams are totally different in chemistry, and besides I will go with Silsbee over hudson, but Silsbee will not win by no doube digits. Number 23 from Hudson is the real deal.
j_dog Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 Come on guys and gals its the second round teams are totally different in chemistry, and besides I will go with Silsbee over hudson, but Silsbee will not win by no doube digits. Number 23 from Hudson is the real deal. I agree. Silsbee should win. But not by double digit margins. Comparing Jasper scores is meaningless. Jasper has improved tremendously since they played Silsbee. Jasper has improved tremendously even since they played Hudson the first time at Hudson. Consider: first game Jasper lost 48-68, second game won 69-68. And yes, #23 is the real deal. Last night if he had not been so good and forced Bailey to the outside, Bailey might have gone in for two and only tied the game instead of lofting a three over 23's head. What a shot, with 23 right on him, Bailey faded away, put a high arch on the ball, and swished it in.
