How did your first day go?

Just curious about how many baseball players will have to miss the first day due to basketball?

Some off the top of my head are:

Vidor:  Sims

PNG:  Deron, Weathersby, Berwick

Nederland:  Dean, both Pitts

LCM:  Gonzales

BC has close to 60 trying out this weekend.

I think BC had a good first day......................mine stumbled thru the door after the first Coach Landry practice!

Hopefully Silsbee's Josh Skinner will be out till after March 14.

He's busy trying to win him a state championship medal. ;D

Silsbee had about 35 kids out yesterday.

There are still a few that will join as soon as Basketball is over

How are things going in BC?  How is the team looking?

BH lookin ok... freshman class looks to have a few who have potential. Varsity is goin to be full of seniors leavin little to no room for underclassmen but there are a few workin out with varsity as of now... numbers will most likely dwindle after a week or two

Very solid group of kids, I think BC has more depth than they have had in a while. Look for good things to continue for a great program, plus the field is coming along nicely.
