setxslam Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Feel better soon, AAW! Did you get a flu shot this year? Looks like it's going around now (Coach Sutherland missed Monday practice with it, I hear), and I'm wondering if this year's batch of flu shots will do any good...

This run that Jasper is making just proves that district isn't that tough. I mean with Silsbee beating Jasper 95-51 in Jasper, that just makes my Tigers look that much better. You can't really say that Jasper wasn't playing that well at that time. They had just come off a runner up finish in the Brookshire tourney and the game right before Silsbee, Jasper defeated Livingston, who as we speak is in second in our local 4A district, having beaten Ozen. Then after the Silsbee game, Jasper got a runner up finish in the BC tourney. You guys were 9-3 in that stretch losing only to Silsbee, Beaumont Central, and Brookshire Royal by 2 on their home court. But what sticks out to me was how bad Jasper lost to Silsbee. A 44 point loss is not good on any terms. Like I have been saying, what I have seen from Jasper, I am just not that impressed.
