Guest coachacola Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Wednesday's Bob West column: There’s still a lot of basketball to be played, but it would appear six teams — SFA (6-1) Sam Houston (5-1), A&M Corpus (5-1), Nicholls State (5-2), UT-San Antonio (4-2) and Texas-Arlington (4-2) — are in great shape to be in Katy March 12-15 for the league tourney. That leaves Southeastern Louisiana (3-4), LU (2-5), Texas State (2-5), Northwestern State (1-5) and McNeese (1-5) battling for the final two spots. Roccaforte said he’ll probably make one lineup change, moving 6-6 freshman Charlie Harper in place of 6-2 Skyler Williams in an attempt to put a bigger team on the floor. One thing he hopes to see is continued aggressive play from 6-6 Kountze junior Ashton Hall. Hall, after a slow start, has averaged 13 points over the past seven games to improve his season average to 8.3. http://www.panews.com/sports/local_story_034212803.html?keyword=topstory
