In 35 seasons she is 1000-187!

She has been coaching since 1974, all with the Lady Vols. She is the all-time winningest coach in NCAA basketball history, and the first ever NCAA Division I basketball coach to win a thousand games.

Coach Summitt has probably done more to advance the ladies game than any coach in any sport.She put her team in the spotlight and let folks know that there were some ladies out there who could flat out play.Her record speaks for itself.That's just incredible.
